Food security and food scarcity are important issues for the planet and for the environment. Signs of hope from a conference in Cairo on sharing global agricultural solutions, including sustainable agriculture, use of low-chem bio-agricultural products and innovative finance that could point the way to a better future for us all. It illustrates the usefulness of R & D companies in developing low chem solutions for agriculture.

Bacillus anthracis is a Gram-positive spore-forming, rod-shaped bacterium, with a width of 1-1.2µm and a length of 3-5µm. It can be grown in an ordinary nutrient medium under aerobic or anaerobic conditions. It bears close genotypical and phenotypical resemblance to Bacillus cereus and Bacillus thuringiensis. All three species share cellular dimensions and morphology. All form oval spores located centrally in a non-swollen sporangium. Bacillus anthracis spores in particular are highly resilient, surviving extremes of temperature, low-nutrient environments, and harsh chemical treatment over decades or centuries.

Some would say that we are living in interesting times, particularly as another US-Iraq confrontation at this stage seems almost inevitable. Such is the present power of the United States that only a few voices in the rest of the world suggest that the United Nations should be the only party to be involved in any future decisions about the coming conflict. Nobody in the West is brave enough any longer to take a moral stance against the imposed economic sanctions, which by now have killed more than 1.6 million Iraqis, mostly children, according to the UN's own statistics.

A chicken kebob recipe by any other name would taste as good. It depends on where you live and the language you speak as to how you pronounce the word. Which variation do you use, kabab, kabob, kibob, kebhav, kephav? All the basic chicken kebob recipes are the same and they refer to a variety of meat dishes from the Middle East, Mediterranean, African, Central and South Asian cuisines. It's all about grilled or broiled meats on a skewer or stick.

Downtown Atlanta is home to many eclectic and unique neighborhoods which speak of Atlanta's colorful past and bright future: Castleberry Hill. This trendy part of the downtown area is chalked full of high-end, residential lofts which were once manufacturing plants, warehouses and meat packing buildings. The many historic warehouses which have undergone renovations have earned Castleberry Hill a spot on the National Register of Historic Places. Other sites in Castleberry Hills include hip pubs and restaurants, salons and retail establishments.

In college sports, players in various sports are tested and trained to be included in college teams. Among these sports is college football. College football is one of the most popular sports in the USA. The goal is to score points by getting the ball into the opposing team's court, or end zone. Over the years, players and coaches have developed various plays for getting the ball to the goal. One of these is known as the forward pass.
