Most every state in the United States of America offer top billing for PhD Universities, with the exception of the state of Nevada. Depending whether you would like to stay in state, or travel out-of-state to pursue your doctorate degree is entirely up to you. The cost, however often times defines if a person is able to attend the out-of-state university of their dreams, or if they are forced to settle for the programs the universities of their states provide.

When Protestantism first started in the 1500's, it was widely held that the Pope was the "anti-Christ" and the Roman Catholic Church was therefore a "non-Christian" religion wholly given to idolatry. It is now believed by most evangelical Christians that the "anti-Christ" is someone who has not as yet been revealed and thus the Pope is not the "anti-Christ". "In fact, as far as I can determine, most Christians now believe that the Roman Catholic Church is a "Christian" church and has, in the minds of the average Christian, the same "standing" as any "main line" Protestant denomination.

Every once in a while there comes one of those moments when, listening to a "Man of God," you can hardly believe the words, concepts, teachings and ideas that seem to flow so easily out of their mouths. Recently I was listening to a rather rabid radio preacher discuss the problem David was having on his own roof looking down at Bathsheba taking a bath on hers. He spoke of lust and murder, desire and sin but kept using the phrase "Bathsheba was taking a bath." It struck me that he was going to say something really stupid. He did. Finally he went Biblically Brain Dead, and said what I was hoping he would not. "In fact.." Uh oh, he's gonna say it. "In fact, that's why her name was BATHsheba...she was taking a bath." Idiot. I wrote him and asked if her taking a shower would have gotten her named "SHOWERSheba," but he didn't respond.

In today's uncertain economic environment, more people than ever before are seeking ways to gain mastery over both their personal and professional lives. Instead of being buffeted by the winds of the stock market, the whims of corporate hotshots and human resources departments, and the rising cost of living, people are taking the reins of their own destinies and creating a path to entrepreneur success. Although many business strategies are being touted, it's becoming increasingly apparent that the key to this success is online education.

There are millions of students around the globe who are looking for the Italian language course, Russian language course, French language course and many other types of international language courses. But searching for fine foreign language courses can be a challenging task, especially because there are a plethora of such educational institutions and online portals that provide with education that is tailor made according to your requirements. Turn on the news or surf the web with your cable or satellite broadband connection today and you will see stories about Afghanistan, Sudan, Haiti, and other countries around the globe. As the world's population increases so does it's interconnectedness; global awareness of international affairs is on the rise. Despite the vast distances between people there are windows straight into other people's lives across the globe. Some of these stories are hopeful or amusing but many are stories of need and tragedy. Wars are being fought, children are trying to get an education, and communities are struggling. Many people are in need.

In mid-November of 2009, The Economist wrote an article dealing with France's sudden interest in Islamic banking, the irony being that France has been very intolerant of Muslim dress in public places in recent years as the country holds dearly to its secularist identity. Islamic banking is almost the term du jour for banks and financiers alike these days, especially since Islamic banks hold billions of dollars in liquid assets - and all the while the world's banks are suffering from an acutely arduous financial crisis.
